Design a killer Web site
Article Abstract:
Commercial Web sites, in order to succeed, need to have the right balance of visual appeal, content, and technology. Ten major considerations for Web site developers are discussed. Companies should have a clear understanding of what they want their Web sites to accomplish. Sites should offer content that visitors will find useful and relevant. It is important to offer useful links to other sites, without creating a revolving door that encourages visitors to move on.

The doorway and the billboard: banner ads are everywhere on the World Wide Web, but what purpose to they really serve?
Article Abstract:
The success of Internet advertising such as banner advertisements is very difficult to measure. While it is easy to count the number of people who explore the ad, this measure may be inaccurate and besides, less web users are clicking on ads. Whether online advertising is useful for a company depends on its design and location and on the goal of the company in creating the ad. Even if it does not improve sales, a web ad can gain the company recognition.
