Remarkable African-American artifacts, dating back to the days of slave trade, in the latter half of the nineteenth century, have been found at an old Texas plantation. They reveal an oppressed but vibrant African-American community, and the unsavory family history of the owners.

Reviving a radiant canvas

The 1500-year-old murals of Teotihuacanos, which were once barely visible, have been painstakingly restored by applying sealants on the worn off paint. The murals vividly depict the daily lives of Mexico's Teotihuacanos.
