Displaying dialogues - the contingencies of collaboration: response to Frank Korom
Article Abstract:
An analysis of current ethnological research techniques is presented, focusing on whether ethnographers should collaborate with the people they are studying. Topics include the impact of the dialogue between curators and studied people, possible insighted provided by the studied people, and whether a museum exhibit can correctly represent a culture.
