La cadena que no se corta: Las artes tradicionales de la comunidad mexico-americana de Tucson/The Unbroken Chain: The Traditional Arts of Tucson's Mexican-American Community
Article Abstract:
The exhibition, which was presented at the University of Arizona Museum of Art, represented Tucson's Mexican-American culture. Its goal was to enhance an understanding of how Mexican-American artists have contributed to Tucson's aesthetic and cultural development. The first art display was a house then the public space where fiesta-related objects were displayed. The people's sense of pride and ownership in the displays was highly evident during the visits of artists and community members to the exhibit site.
