Article Abstract:
New research is being conducted at Catalhoyuk East in central Anatolia, a site believed to be the world's first urban center, occupied between 9,000 to 7,500 years ago. Several thousand people are thought to have lived at the site. By 1997, explorations revealed a complex history of building remodeling, with plastered floors, walls and murals.

There are about 350 Americans playing basketball in Europe, and most of them seem to have bizarre stories to tell about the experience. For example, Danny Vranes of the AEK team in Athens, Greece, was told if he did not play in the next game his friend would be killed.

Genetic diversity and interdependent crop choices in agriculture
Article Abstract:
The extent of genetic diversity in food crops is important as it affects the risk of attack by pathogens. Farmers may not take this into account when making crop choices, leading to what from a social perspective is an inadequate level of diversity.
