Sheltering Arms Child Development and Model Teaching Center
Article Abstract:
A 108-year-old Sheltering Arms Child Development and Model Teaching Center together with Frank Farrington of Farrington Design Group created a model center at the edge of Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, GA. The two-story, 23,000-sq.-ft., 140 patient building opened on June 1996. It has classrooms with their own bathrooms, a family conference room, a clinic and a kitchen. Classrooms are equipped for both quiet activities and active play. Colorful carpets on the floor and graphics on the wall create a bright and joyous atmosphere.
