Article Abstract:

The exhibit, 'The Great Age of British Watercolors 1750-1880,' showcased 260 watercolor masterpieces and paintings of great watercolor painters from Great Britain and the US. The works of these painters and their contributions to the promotion of watercolor as a medium in painting have been discussed.

Romantic chateau in Normandy

The Count and Countess de la Houssaye have restored their ancient family chateau on the Normandy coast to its former grandeur. The historic chateau, known as the Chateau L'Isle Marie, is located on a site, near the town of Sainte-Mere-Eglise, which has been with the de la Houssaye family since 1140.
