Fruitlands: preserving New England

The Fruitlands Museums in Harvard, MA, houses some of the most important facets of 19th century American history, including furniture, clothing, pottery, painted leather, carved wood and decorative art. The museum is the brainchild of Clara Endicott Sears and Mary Peabody Sears.

Old Salem anew
