Golden oldie
Article Abstract:
The Pegasus Suites at the Rockefeller Center in New York, NY, feature an interior design that combines glamour, craftsmanship and functionality. The suites, which will be used for business and social functions, echo the design elements of artists'works in other parts of the center without sacrificing their own distinctive character. Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Assoc decorated the walls and ceilings with abstract mural paintings of geometric Art Deco patterns and used stepped, gold scalloped and etched glass panels for accent. Utility systems were carefully planned to enhance the elegant atmosphere of the suites.
