Researching plantation records
Article Abstract:
Plantation life in America has been poorly documented owing to the lack of available materials since most plantation records have remained with the descendants of plantation owners. The largest microfilmed record dealing with plantation life remains 'Records of Ante-Bellum Southern Plantations.'

The Salem Witch Trials
Article Abstract:
The Salem Witch Trials of 1692 began after a black slave in Salem Village, MA, Tituba, confessed that she was indeed a witch. This prompted a series of trials, accusations and executions. Some 24 people had died for their supposed involvement in sorcery during the Salem Witch Trials.
