Article Abstract:
Los Angeles-based design firm Studios Architecture was commissioned to design the offices of the law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in its new location at the Cesal Pelli skyscraper. The design revolved around the law firm's art collection which wereused to transform the corridors into gallery spaces in two floors. The crescent-shaped gallery is often used for social gatherings, but art pieces arespread throughout the offices. Office interiors were chosen to match the traditionasl imagery in some of the paintings and the graffiti murals in others.

Article Abstract:
Walt Disney Co's 44-acre Burbank, CA, campus includes corporate offices, production facilities, sound stages and other facilities required for the other aspects of its operations. Development of the Burbank campus has beendeferred but the Team Disney Building is symbolic of Disney Chmn and CEO Michael Eisner's drive to implement Imagineering principles. The building's eye-catching features include designs based on Mickey Mouse' ears and dwarf caryatids. The building's design captures Disney's serious yet fun approach to architecture.
