The small newspaper check-up
Article Abstract:
A critique of the layout of the Wisconsin Stevens Point Journal is presented. The newspaper is advised to change some elements in its typography, news page design and feature pages to be more effective. It may benefit from using clear bold typefaces, varying headline sizes, use larger photos of lead and front page stories and more artwork. It is also advised to delineate sections and place related articles separate from the lead story.
