Computers and dance: back to the future
Article Abstract:
Computer software offers the choreographer and ballet teacher some marvelous aids, however it is rarely used. Even the Internet, which brings together dancers from all over the world seems to be more odious than inspiring. However, the dance company Palindrome has incorporated computers to generate interaction between dancers and their audience. In one performance, dancers wear electrode sensors to pick up their heartbeat and transmit it to the audience.
