Reprise: on dance ethnography
Article Abstract:
An analysis is presented on the use of the body to communicate, and ways in which rhythm and movement become a form of language. The article focuses on the Tortugas fiesta of New Mexico, and includes verbal accounts from dancers describing their experiences along with historical and religious references.

An attempt is made to expand the research and writing works so that dance ethnologist becomes more relevant outside the dance field. Few areas that can provide better possibilities for future research are also listed.
