Sites of subjectivity: Robert Morris, minimalism, and dance
Article Abstract:
Robert Morris, an American artist best known for his Minimalist sculptures of the 1960's has produced theoretical articles, paintings, videos, installations, and environmental art in addition to his work in dance. The performative strategies seen in both Morris's choreographic and sculptural production show gender to be integrally involved in his artistic project.

Still moving: The revelation or representation of dance in still photography
Article Abstract:
The methods of representing dance in still photography are explained and whether attempts to still time in photography have not resulted in the freezing, and losing, of all sense of movement are examined. The practical and theoretical implications of opposing approaches to the presentation of dance movement in still images are explored.
