RSI on the increase
Article Abstract:
The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is treating an increasing number of people suffering from RSI (repetitive strain injury.) RSI is the single commonest cause for time off work. Causes are working in a fixed position for hours undertaking repetitive tasks. RSI covers illnesses such as tenosynovitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and tendinitis. Treatment is chosen according to severity. Many cases could have been avoided if employers had been informed about their prevention. Not all types of RSI are recognised as occupational diseases and sufferers are unable to claim compensation.

Something for everyone to dislike
Article Abstract:
Various ballet productions have attempted to reshape classic dances by changing traditional gender roles. 'Swan Lake' was performed without ballet toe shoes and with an all-male ensemble, although the Prince remains male and the Princess female, and released in edited version on television. This gender switch offers some moments of homoeroticism as well as homophobia, resulting in a mixed message that will probably confuse audiences.
