Article Abstract:

'Stravinsky Violin Concerto' is a new acquisition for the National Ballet of Canada and was paired on a repertory program with an old stalwart for them, Peter Wright's production of 'Giselle', which was set on the Canadians in 1970. The ballet is the keystone for a classical ballet company and the strong production of it can lead to a strong Swan Lake and to the other most resource-intensive of classical ballets.
