Common goal unites space advocates
Article Abstract:
The January 2004 announcement of President George Bush regarding the space exploration program has got many of America's top scientists on a common platform mainly because of technological as well as economic benefits that may come their way. Public support has also been overwhelming and the Space Exploration Alliance comprising of eleven non-profit organizations hopes to be an effective voice encouraging the vision.

Heady days for space
Article Abstract:
Space exploration programs have received a shot in the arm with the slew of announcements coming from various quarters and experts feel that this probably may be the golden era for space research. Members of the National Space Society are being urged to share their passion about space research as more memberships are solicited.

A woman takes command
Article Abstract:
Analysis is provided on the first NASA shuttle mission commanded by a woman. The flawless flight with Eileen Collins at the helm went smoothly with only a minor glitch at the beginning of take-off. The mission of Columbia and the Collins' handling of the flight are noted.
