The release of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the official photos of the Cydonia site on the planet Mars failed to allay speculations that the Cydonia site is the 'conclusive' proof of alien civilization on Mars, as seen in the rising number of Web sites that claim the existence of such civilization.

Water erosion on Mars
Article Abstract:
Water-worn surface features of Mars suggest the planet may have once supported life. The Mariner 9 space probe detected channels so similar to terrestrial floods that scientists are reconsidering the possibility that liquid water may have been present on the planet's surface.

A discussion is presented regarding the possibility of using a type of magnetic fusion rocket (MFR) that depends on a gasdynamic mirror (GDM). Such type of propulsion system is being considered for use on probes that will be sent on Mars.
