Meteorite sample disk: the classroom space probe
Article Abstract:
NASA's Johnson Space Center has prepared 250 meteorite sample disks which elementary and high school teachers may borrow and use as aids to astronomy instruction. Each clear lucite disk contains chips from various meteorite types, such as chondrites, basaltic achondrites and iron.
