Article Abstract:

The US Landsat remote sensing satellite program is expected to benefit from the National Land Remote Sensing Policy Act of 1991. The bill aims to amend the the 1984 Landsat Commercialization Act by mandating changes in the management and commercialization policies governing Landsat.

Pedaling space

Article Abstract:

Astronauts must have regular aerobic exercise to counter the long-term effects of microgravity on bones and muscles. However, this activity interferes with equipment used in experiments. An exercise platform developed by NASA and Lockheed Missiles is expected to solve this problem.

The McDonnel Douglas Corp recently unveiled the Delta Clipper Experimental (DC-X) suborbital rocket vehicle. The DC-X is an unmanned spacecraft designed to test the technological readiness for reusable suborbital rockets.
