Access to space
Article Abstract:
The opening of the space frontier depends on cheap and efficient access to Earth orbit. Several companies are in the process of designing and building prototypes for the next generation of reusable orbital transfer vehicles that will succeed the space shuttle and open the space frontier.

Space programs can be used to develop global environmental disaster warning systems. However, space agencies throughout the world need to convince their respective governments that the said program is worthy of immense resource allocations.
