Policy experts in the National Space Society find that reforms in the way the International Space Station experiments are chosen and managed may foster more US industry involvement. Greater involvement will lead to the opening of the space limits to business, ultimately to space-based employees and tourists.

An analysis of how people who travel in space might receive medical care is presented. Medical care would likely be provided by paramedics who might have more specialized training than medics on earth, but the care would also have unique challenges.
