Space travel effects found
Article Abstract:
Different studies have determined that space flights affect the function and size of muscle, bone and other cells in the body. The June 1991 Spacelab Life Sciences-1 results show that several muscles undergo atrophy and neural synapses proliferate but fail to increase in size. Other studies confirm the reduction of healing and functional abilities after space flight.
