Important decisions on radio frequency allocation will be made at the World Administrative Radio Conference (WARC '92). WARC '92, convened by the International Telecommunications Union, will tackle the internationally important question of who may use the various radio frequencies and for what puposes.

The Leonid meteor shower, which occurs yearly every mid-November, may damage the space program and the communications satellites. There are 100-200 satellites in Clarke orbit, among others in the lower orbit, which will have to contend with a huge number of meteors.

The Hubble Telescope pursues the Hubble Constant
Article Abstract:
The Hubble Space Telescope is helping scientists calculate the value of the Hubble Constant. This number is important because it can be used to calculate the age of the known universe and perhaps aid in determining whether the universe will ever stop expanding.
