The Langley NSS high power rocket program continues
Article Abstract:
The Langley Chapter of NSS commissioned high school students to design a 14-ft rocket at New Horizons Education Center. They attended talks and demonstrations given by NSS before they make and launch the high powered rocket on Apr 22, 1997 at NASA Wallops Flight Facility, VA.

Langley chapter rockets into the classroom

The National Space Society's (NSS) Langley, VA, chapter has launched a program aimed at using rockets as educational tools. With the help of NSS members, students at a local high school designed and built an impressive 12-ft. rocket.
