Article Abstract:
The NSS should not change it's position of not entering the political and military debate in response to the September 11 terrorist attacks. It should continue concentrating on living, working and playing outside of Earth's atmosphere. Issues that should be considered include the budget for increased security, how NASA can contribute to increased airline security, and openness in sharing scientific information.
