Article Abstract:

An evaluation of the five four-door sedans are described. These sedans are the Acura Integra GS-R, Audi A4 1.8 T Quatro, Nissan Maxima SE, Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT and Volkswagen Jetta GLX. The ratings with regards to their performance, comfort and controls, and design and styling are presented.

The NSX-T's detachable top is the hardest to operate of the three sports convertibles. The NSX-T has the manners of a Honda Accord except at high speeds. The F355 Spider is an ultra-high performance car, while the Carrera Targa is less sure-footed but is agile and nicely balanced.

Lexus ES 300: like father, like son

The Lexus ES 300 has a much more fluid and sporty look than the ES 250. Changes, other than styling, include a redesigned and more powerful engine, and a quietness even at higher speeds. The ES 300 is a small luxury sedan with a list price of only $26,150.
