A racer describes his test runs at the '96 Goodwood Festival of Speed in his Delaheye, which he had driven in the 1939 Le Mans. The 1.12-mile Goodwood began in 1993 near the GoodWood House of the 18th-century home of the Earl of March and Kinrara.

Stirling won the 100-mile Grand Prix in a Cooper-Climax race car despite an overheated engine that had lost all of its coolant. He finished with a comfortable margin of 39 seconds ahead of Jack Brabham and his F1 Cooper.
