Paul, Jr., and not Kenny Brack won at the Indy Racing League's Inaugural Lone Star 500 held in Texas. The event was the 10th of the 11 races in the 1998 season. Paul, Jr. may be remembered as the winner of the 1983 Michigan 500 where he defeated Mario Andretti and Al Unser.
