Tucson is the latest Hyundai product to join the under $20,000 club, which is the Korean automaker's smallest SUV and the second Hyundai to wear the name of a Southwest city. Hyundai Tucson GLS is priced at $20,594, is front-engine, front-wheel-drive, has 4-speed automatic with manumatic shifting transmission, and makes decent power with 173 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque.

BMW 750i: A muscular makeover

BMW's 750i is motivated by a 4.8-liter V-8, essentially the same engine used in the rambunctious X5 4.8is, whose extra 401 cc generates 35 more horsepower and 30 additional pound-feet of torque. The car features an engine power of 360 bhp, torque of 360 lb ft at 3400 rpm, displacement of 293 cubic inches and wheelbase of 117.7 inch and is worth $78,390.

2005 Saab 9-2X Aero: Sushi rolled in a Swedish pancake

Article Abstract:

The 2005 Saab 9-2X Aero model of the Swedish car, assembled in Japan, was test-driven in 2004 in Ann Arbor to assess its performance. It is found to be a polished version of the WRX wagon with better carpeting and improved door trim and has a power of 227 bhp, torque of 217 lb-ft, a top speed of 140 mph and a price tag of $31,890 as tested.
