The news that Lotus Cars planned to sell its car collection brought disappointment and shock to many car enthusiasts. However, the sale was not as expected since no race cars went up for sale. This is understandable since the racing and manufacturing sides of Lotus were separate entities.

Jaguar XK8 convertible

The most noticeable feature of the Jaguar XK8 convertible is its rounded styling. It comes with a V-8 engine; five-speed automatic transmission; and a lined, padded, easy-to-use top. The XK8 will be available in late fall 1996 or later, and it will probably sell for at least $75,000.
