Porsche AG began to lose money in the early 1990s for the first time in 40 years, and a number of recent management changes reflect these economic difficulties. Poor decisions, such as the company's attempt to develop a four-door Porsche, have contributed to the problem.

Safety: north and south
Article Abstract:
There is traditionally less concern with automobile safety in southern Europe than in northern Europe. For example, air bags are a becoming popular in Scandinavia, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, but are of little interest in France, Italy, Spain and Greece.
