Return of the Mustang

Article Abstract:

The buying of a 1989 5.0 Mustang LX Sport with 95,000 miles on the odometer is described. The Mustangs of the late 1960s and 1980s were favorites, and when a good model was found in the back of a used-car lot, the temptation was too great. Alterations are underway on what has become a modern hot rod.

Salt cars

'Salt cars' are cars purchased for winter driving. The use of salt on icy roads tends to corrode cars, and many people drive only used cars during the winter. The selection of a good salt car is described.
