Car and Driver magazine continues its tradition of creating unique cars with the Ford Taurus SHO Wagon. Features such as low-load springs give the station wagon ride and handling similar to the Taurus sedan. A V-6 engine produces 220 horsepower.

Driver Dale Jarrett surprised many at the recent Winston Cup competition when he hurled his helmet at Bobby Hillin's car. Hillin had nudged Jarrett's car off the race track. Two other violent outbursts by Winston Cup drivers are described.

Gunning for Billy

Lincoln, NM, was a rough frontier town during the 1800s, and gunfights were a frequent occurrence. Several myths surround the life of Billy the Kid, such as the misconception that he was left-handed and that he robbed banks, are related.
