Three new 1997 minivans from General Motors are much improved from their earlier counterparts. GM is marketing the Oldsmobile Silhouette at the luxury buyers, the Pontiac Trans Sport for the performance market, and the Chevy Venture, formerly the Lumina, will be aimed at the value market.
