The experience of driving Italy's Mille Miglia in a 1951 Ferrari 340 America Vignale Spider is described. The 1,000 mile race, which took two and a half days to complete, is a major event in Italy and onlookers line the streets, while soldiers and police help expedite the race.

Driving the old Lotuses

Article Abstract:

A former race car driver relived his racing days when he attended the Vintage Auto Racing Assn's 30th Anniversary Formula Ford Festival and Sportscar Vintage Racing Assn's 1-hour endurance race. These events gave him a chance to enjoy driving several old Lotus formula cars.
