Article Abstract:

A few cynics among the gathered press suggested that BMW had put this design conference together as an elaborate defense of the company' controversial styling trends but it was intended to be a discussion on the enduring influence of 1950s'ideas and the 50th anniversary celebration of BMW' 507 sports car and the Isetta.
