Journalist Andrew Kopkind was noted for his radical politics but few know him as a lighthearted and generous individual. He wrote articles for 'The New Republic' and the 'New York Review of Books' as well for 'The Nation.' Even as administrations changed, he remained steadfast in his political beliefs.
