Detection of airborne Stachybotrys chartarum macrocyclic trichothecene mycotoxins on particulates smaller than conidia
Article Abstract:
The presence of airborne Stachybotrys chartarum macrocyclic trichothecenes on filters in the absence of conidia is investigated. Data reveals that S. chartarum trichothecene mycotoxins can become airborne in association with intact conidia or smaller particles and may have important implications for indoor air quality assessment.

Detection of airborne Stachybotrys chartarum macrocyclic trichothecene mycotoxins in the indoor environment
Article Abstract:
The presence of airborne macrocyclic trichothecene mycotoxins in indoor environments with known Stachybotrys chartarum contamination is investigated. Results indicate that airborne macrocyclic trichothecenes can exist in Stachybotrys chartarum-contaminated buildings.

Reduction of pulmonary toxicity of Stachybotrys chartarum spores by methanol extraction of mycotoxins
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on the fungus Stachybotrys chartarum. The role of the mycotoxins in the pulmonary effects that have been caused by Stachybotrys chartarum spores has been examined.
