A newly discovered verotoxin variant VT2g produced by bovine verocytotoxigenic Escherichia coli
Article Abstract:
A new verotoxin (VT) variant named as vt2g is identified. The findings showed that vt2g has high nucleic acid homology with verotoxin (VT) sequences associated with human diseases.

Adaptation of Escherichia coli O157:H7 to pH alters membrane lipid composition, verotoxin secretion and resistance to simulated gastric fluid acid
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to see the resistance and adaptation of Escherichia coli O157:H7 when undergoing acidic conditions in the stomach. The procedure and the results are discussed.
