Impact of environmental and genetic factors on biofilm formation by the probiotic strain Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG

Article Abstract:

Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG has formed biofilms on abiotic surfaces, in contrast to other strains of the Lactobacillus cesei group tested under the same conditions. Microtiter plate biofilm assays have indicated that in vitro biofilm formation is modulated by culture medium factors and conditions related to the gastrointestinal environment.

Engineering the nifH promoter region and abolishing poly-beta-hydroxybutyrate accumulation in rhizobium etli enhance nitrogen fixation in symbiosis with phaseolus vulgaris

Article Abstract:

Mexico's most famous crop is the common bean plant which is grown with the biological nitrogen fixation process. This process is used by manipulating the rhizobium bacteria which is explained.
