Protein targeting to the endoplasmic reticulum in yeast

Article Abstract:

Research on the translocation mechanism surrounding protein targeting to the endoplasmic reticulum in yeast were examined. Several advances in determining components of the endoplasmic reticulum translocon and analyzing the function supported by the translocation reaction have been made. These have been realized utilizing a combination of approaches that ranged from yeast genetics to biochemical reconstitution.

Role of RpoS in virulence and stress tolerance of the plant pathogen Erwinia cartovora subsp. cartovora

Article Abstract:

Results show that rpoS gene is mainly involved in the ability of the bacterium to survive stress and competetitive environmental conditions than in its infectivity.
