Inbreeding depression in benign and stressful environments
Article Abstract:
The current literature on the relationship between the magnitude of inbreeding depression and environmental stress is reviewed and haploid lethal equivalents expressed under relatively benign and stressful conditions are calculated. It is found that inbreeding depression increases under stress in 76%of cases and estimates of lethal equivalents are significantly greater under stressful than relative benign conditions.

Recent development in genetic data analysis: what can they tell us about human demographic history?
Article Abstract:
The general statistical techniques that have recently used are explained and the underlying population genetic models are discussed. The uncertainty about the effects of natural selection, population structure and ascertainment of single nucleotide polymorphism markers suggests that likelihood-based methods may have greater impact in future.
