Intergenerational correlation of effective family size in early Quebec (Canada)
Article Abstract:
An intergenerational correlation for effective family size has been found in a study of the early French Canadian population of Quebec (1608-1800). Effective family size within a geographical area is the number of children that settle for each settled individual.

Changes in menarcheal age in girls exposed to war conditions
Article Abstract:
Onset of menstruation is subject to psychological pressure. Girls whose homes were damaged during the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina during the mid-1990s experienced menarche earlier than girls who lost a family member.
