Article Abstract:

Traits that make the starlet sea anemone, Nematostella vectensis exceptionally attractive as a model organism is explored. The research demonstrating the utility of Nematostella in several different contexts and highlighting a number of developments, which is likely to further increase, that utility in the near future are discussed.
