Menarche, menopause, and migration: implications for breast cancer research
Article Abstract:
Ages of menarche and menopause have been found to be significant in delaying breast cancer incidence rates among Hispanic immigrants to the US. First generation immigrants were older at the onset of menarche and younger at menopause than second generation immigrants. This age factor contributes to a multigenerational delay in breast cancer occurrences.

Boas and beyond: migration and craniometric variation
Article Abstract:
Franz Boas's immigration studies on the influence of developmental plasticity, natural selection and gene flow that affect craniometric variation are discussed. The results show that craniometric data can be used to explore questions of gene flow and genetic affinity.
