Stable DNA replication: interplay between DNA replication, homologous recombination and transcription
Article Abstract:
Molecular research has not yet established what concomitant protein synthesis is used for in the continued initiation of chromosome replication. It may be required to synthesise an unknown substance used in the initiation of oriC. DnaA protein may be the unidentified substance. Chloramphenical treated DnaA(Cos) mutants, despite their sensitivity to cold temperatures and instability, are able to replicate for longer than DnaA+ cells. Further research is required to establish if DnaA protein is irreversibly inactivated.

Replication fork stalling at natural impediments
Article Abstract:
Evidence of replication inhibition at natural impediments is summarized and discussed with emphasis on the genome's function and stability. Further investigation of replication stalling at natural impediments would provide invaluable insights into DNA replication, fork restart, checkpoint control and maintenance of genomic stability.

Flexible design for following up positive findings
Article Abstract:
A design for follow up studies that take advantage of information gathered from the initial phase of study is aimed and concluded that in the context of flexible design the joint analysis is generally more powerful than the replication analysis.
