Christopher Archer, Kevin Scherzer, Kyle Scherzer and Bryant Grober Mar 16, 1993, were found guilty in a Newark, NJ, court of various sexual assault charges stemming from the rape of a then-17-year-old woman who was mentally retarded.

Marcus D. Gill, Kendrick M. Ledet and Rodrico Harp pleaded guilty to abducting a 12-year-old girl in Okinawa. Gill admitted to raping her, but the other two defendants did not. The incident strained US-Japanese relations.
