H.A. (DAVE) TRUE, IS PRESIDENT OF A GROUP OF ASSOCIATED COMPANIES PRIMARILY INVOLVED IN OIL AND GAS EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENT. MR. TRUE'S FAMILY BUSINESS HAS EVOLVED INTO NINE SEPARATE COMPANIES, INCLUDING A BANK, A DRILLING COMPANY, AND FOUR CATTLE RANCHES. DAVE TRUE BEGAN AS AN INDEPENDENT PROSPECTOR IN WYOMING IN THE LATE 1940'S, AND TYPIFIES THE OPTIMISM OF THE WEST, ITS DETERMINATION AND ITS ENTERPRISING SPIRIT.

The GOP plan to curb growth in Medicare spending is necessary to keep the system solvent. Critics who wish to continue current expansion would drive it into bankruptcy. Under Congress' 7-year budget-balancing plan, Medicare spending would still increase over 30%, to $1.6 trillion.
